AHF(APF) Active Harmonic(Power) Filter
AHF(APF) Active Harmonic(Power) Filter is connected in parallel with the loads.A current generator (power unit) that converts the control signals generated by the filter controller into the filter compensation current. A filter controller that determines the anti-harmonic current to be injected based on the line current measurements and the user's requirements. The line current measurements are obtained from current transformers (CTs) . The user enters his requirements by means of the user interface.

Taking a biopharmaceutical power quality management project in Shandong Province as an example, according to feedback from the responsible personnel of the plant, the comprehensive office building of the plant frequently tripped. In addition, the reactor in the capacitor cabinet of the biopharmaceutical production workshop distribution room was burnt and the N line cable was overheated. The main reason was found. The 5th and 7th harmonics can be centrally managed in the power distribution room to eliminate the impact of harmonics on the entire power supply and distribution system, transformers, capacitor cabinets and other electrical equipment, thereby ensuring normal biopharmaceutical production; the harmonics in the power distribution room of the production workshop are more serious, and the 3rd and 5th harmonics have exceeded the national GB/T14549-1993 "Power Quality Public Grid Harmonics" 0.38KV system harmonics and harmonic current value standards. The on-site capacitor cabinet is connected in series with a 7% reactance, and the 3rd and 5th harmonics flow into the capacitor cabinet. The harmonic current is superimposed on the fundamental current of the capacitor, which increases the operating current of the capacitor and increases the temperature rise, causing overheating and reducing the service life of the capacitor or damaging the capacitor. Since the 3rd harmonic belongs to the zero-sequence harmonic current, the three-phase vector angle is consistent, and it will be linearly superimposed on the N line. The current of the N line is about 223A, which has exceeded the current value of the phase line. Excessive current of the N line will cause the neutral line to overheat, insulation aging, and grounding fault, which will lead to power outage and even electrical fire. Active filtering devices can be used to treat them on the spot at the end. Using DSP+FPGA full digital control mode, parallel connection in the system can fully compensate for 2 to 51 harmonics or specific harmonics; it can eliminate all harmonics in the system, prevent harmonics from damaging the N line, protect the line, and prevent fire.
